The Nike LeBron VIII ‘South Beach’ is definitely not the first Miami-inspired sneaker colorway, but it’s hard to miss its similarities to the above pictured pair. Here’s a closer look at the Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 ‘South Beach’, a shoe Sneaker News showed you for the first time just last week. In these new images, we get a better sense for how the palette echoes the city’s signature art deco motif, and our first good look at the patent leather mudguard, which has a tortoise shell marbling to imitate ocean waves on its toe. This is the first time we’ve seen anything other than straight up gloss on an Air Jordan XI (-inspired) mudguard, so we can’t help but wonder if more textured looks are on the way.
