All week, it was looking like Team SneakerNews was on its way to our first loss of the year in the FLuD Watches “Barksdale & Bell” fantasy basketball league. Most of the team was looking pretty sorry for much of the week, but a strong weekend finish propelled Team SN to a skin-of-our-teeth 5-4 win over the fellas from Orisue. Through 6 weeks, we are still unbeaten and going strong, despite the short bench with Aaron Brooks still recovering from an ankle injury. For the second week in a row, no roster moves were made as the waiver wire in a 12 team league such as this is looking pretty bleak right now. Despite the win, Team SN was bumped down from second place to third, but you know we’ll be looking to climb back up tot he top of the standings when we take on our Week 7 opponent, Dr Jays. Keep reading for a look at the current standings and roster and continue to follow us on our quest for a fantasy b-ball title in 2011.
TEAM SNEAKERNEWS WEEK 6 MVP
As much as we’d like to switch up our Team MVP honors from week to week, Amar’e didn’t leave us with much of a choice in Week 6. The man known as Stat lived up to his name and more as he helped Team SN and the NY Knicks stay on track in the wins column and currently sits as Yahoo’s number 1 ranked player over the last 7 days of action.
