The recently released Air Jordan Prime 5 in the Grape Ice colorway turned some heads with its tonal grape purple upper and oversized 3M-reflective tongue. Head-turners they surely are, but had one particular design element made it to the final production version, they might’ve made you look twice. Here’s a look at a sample version of the Air Jordan Prime 5 in the Grape colorway with ’23’ printed on the lateral heel of the upper. The production version does not feature the ’23’ on the heel, which would make more sense considering the Air Jordan V version of the Grape colorway didn’t have it either.
