That there’s a Kelly green suede pair set to drop this spring is no surprise with St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, but the timing of this latest Reebok GL 6000 is a bit odd. Maybe that’s cos any time you quietly pay homage to the man and brand who relegated you to a secondary spot in the market two decades earlier, there are bound to be some awkward feelings. These GL6Ks don’t come right out and offer a nod of respect to Michael Jordan, but the subtle Elephant print-like pattern on the toe and heel serves as a reminder of the context for this ’80s running release. And it looks pretty good too with tonal application serving to mostly add some depth of color until you get super close-up. You’ll see more after the jump and look for these soon at select RBK retailers. via FNG
