The black and red editions were obvious choices for a couple of previews we’ve seen, but don’t forget that Nike Sportswear plans to release no fewer than a dozen Nike Sky Force ’88 Vintage colorways in the coming months. These follow the same basic colorblocking pattern as the aforementioned pairs, but instead of red or black, we’re looking at classic varsity style shades of royal blue and kelly green on the accents of these otherwise white leather Sky Force 88s. In an age when the Dunk, Air Force 1, Blazer have become defaults in the streetwear world, it’s particularly refreshing to see this model emerge from the Beaverton vaults and simply smack you upside the head with their quintessentially old school look.
