“Cleared for Flight.”
Just how can you describe Derrick Rose? He’s got that rare quality in a superstar player, something that tells you he’ll stick with one team throughout the prime of his career. He has the jumping ability of Vince Carter, the explosive first step of Allen Iverson, a newfound perimeter jumper, and the cojones to put on the finishing touch like Bulls alumni Michael Jordan. He’s the type of player worth waiting for, and with the Bulls now first in the East under Rose’s leadership, the wait is certainly over. Sorely needing a signature sneaker line with potential for healthy longevity, adidas shrewdly picked up Derrick Rose and debuted his signature shoe earlier this season and followed that up with a ‘1.5’ designation. Rose is only getting better and better so the three-stripes needs to follow suit, and this preliminary look at the adidas adiRose 2 has us wondering if adidas is on the right track. A fresh design with new lightweight materials and one of the dopest insoles we’ve seen on a basketball sneaker in quite a long time says that adidas is letting Rose blossom in the best way that it can. Certainly more ‘techy’ compared to Nike’s minimalistic POV, the adidas adiRose 2, like Rose, stands out from the rest.
