Nike Basketball has issued a number of ‘Think Pink’ sneakers to support the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, and with the late great NC State coach’s 69th birthday having come on Monday, it’s a good time to see the latest ribbon-bearing release. The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse for women pictured above in a lowtop cut is among the more pleasing models in the line so far, thanks to a smokey peppermint twist of Dark Grey and Pinkfire II. Having only seen the latter on a jaw-dropping pair of Hyperdunk 2010s late last year, we see proof that not every Pinkfire II release will carry that same metallic sheen, but if the shine had to come off it’s hard to imagine a better design to break the news.
