It had carried the torch for Nike’s Vac-Tech construction for nearly a year, but the Nike Air Royal Mid VT has raised the stakes to new heights in recent weeks with an impressively wide variety of new applications. The Lites give you a little Crocs flavor for the summer, the ripstop joints are tough as nails and the mesh edition finds itself right in the middle. We saw grey and red pairs a couple times last month, and now we can confirm a Varsity Royal pair joining the group. This new Air Royal Mid VT gives the classic blue shade new life thanks to the tonal depth gained by a white base layer; are they the best of the three we’ve seen so far?
