Few sneakers have so strongly introduced a new colorway in recent years as the Nike LeBron 8 did with the ‘South Beach’ palette. Thanks to their impeccable combination of limited availability and stunning good looks, these babies have among the highest resale value of any Nike Basketball releases in recent memory, though sneakerheads can be spotted speculating online in forums and blog comments as to whether a similar LeBron 9 could do damage to the model’s potentially increasing value like the Heat’s Finals fizzle-out. It’s the same kind of speculation that asks if LeBron is better than teammate Dwyane Wade or vice-versa and is probably better applied to comparing ‘Bron’s Beaches to the new Jordan Fly Wade pictured above. Initially slated for a July 7th drop date, the ‘South Beach’ Fly Wade will now release on Saturday, July 23rd. UPDATE:
It has just been confirmed that SoleFly will be releasing these on July 9th at their 1 year anniversary celebration, but the wider release will remain on July 23rd.
