Yesterday Sneaker News showed you a dope animated short featuring Nike designers Shane Kohatsu and Ben Shaffer, pondering the wonders of the Nike Hyperfuse material. Shane introduced Nike Hyperfuse to the sport of basketball, and it was later adopted by Shaffer for Nike Sportswear, Fuse-ing out classics like the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and Air Force 1. The Air Force 1 High was also chosen for this experiment, resulting in these three tonal colorways with super-lightweight construction (a welcome feature to the AF1 High) for a smooth rendering of Nike’s most recognizable basketball shoe in history. The Medium Grey joints just became ripe for the picking at Nikestore, but expect the Blue Glow and electric tonal Volt versions to become available soon.
