Back in March, when the furthest out onto the horizon we could see was that mythic part of the future called ‘fall 2011’, Sneaker News showed you a Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski that appeared to carry a bunch of blood stains on the off-white upper and insole in honor of the Halloween holiday. It turns out that this model is indeed themed after a red stain that’s next to impossible remove, and the timing of their release during Q3 is even better when you consider the fact that grape harvesting season falls around August-October. The ‘Wino’ Stefan Janoski SB depicts the horror of not using coasters instead of a possible piece of evidence from a murder scene, and with this shift in apparent inspiration, they become one of the more unique adult beverage-inspired sneakers we’ve seen from Nike SB or any other brand.
