September has already seen a two-pack of Dunk High AC Quickstrikes that Nike Sportswear crafted with a ‘Deconstructed’ look and name, about half of their new Air Ralston lifestyle midtops have a floppy, minimal build, and now another Dunk with a different feel thanks to the classic cupsole. All-suede bodies on these new Nike Dunk Mid Decon Premiums also gives a more traditional feel, though the ‘Mid’ designation and differing eyelet-wing placements on these preview images compounds the curiosity given that outside of a scant few GS drops, NSW has only issued Highs and Lows to this point in history. But without a strap like Nike SB’s, these don’t look all that different from highs from a distance; it’ll be interesting to see how the fit and overall look compares to 1985’s all-timer.
