This year is the 23rd anniversary of the initial release of the Air Jordan III and we’ve seen/will see three of the four original colorways hit retail along with several new looks, but one that’s grabbing some attention despite a doubtful retail status is the above pictured Oregon Ducks exclusive. These UO PE AJIIIs are the same as Dennis Dixon’s, and thanks to this arrangement, we can probably assume that a similar web-toed insignia takes the Jumpman’s place on the black ‘away’ edition as well. Could college-branded PEs finally extend their reach into Jordan Brand’s archives? If so, it’d have to be the Ducks or Tar Heels to earn the first honors. Let us know which you’d rather see first and stick with Sneaker News for more Air Jordan player exclusives. via Stickie213
