Nike All Conditions Gear has over two decades in the books with several chapters dedicated to super-rugged trail-chomping tanks that some simply call ‘Nike Boots’. Their latest certainly has one of the more aggressive tooling and tread patterns we’ve seen from the Swoosh outdoor division, but the Nike ACG WMNS Grassy Short Boots’ Air Baked-meets-Takao design is so unique it should be placed in a different volume. This ripstop nylon slip-on gets tighter thanks to a pullcord running through a series of rainbow-colored eyelets that stand out on the dark upper, a reminder of classic ACG exuberance that’s integral to the novel construction.
