The 1996-born original upon which it’s based is unquestionably among the Air Jordan Legacy’s very most elegant designs, but did anyone expect the Air Jordan XII to be remade as a chukka? The signs were there with the CMFT Max Air 12 and coming up next year there’s a Jordan 12 Runner on the way that along with the above pictured Air Jordan XII Clave go for a more casual approach. Despite their name, these don’t appear to be your traditional autoclaved/vulcanized sole, either, as these appear a carbon fiber springplate away from the OG bottoms; could more surprises be in store for the AJ12 Clave?
