We’ve seen a ton of Air Jordan III PEs and Samples come out of the woodworks this year, but it’s apparent that 2011 being the milestone year for the Air Jordan III is just a coincidence. The Air Jordan III ‘Denim’ and ‘Khaki’ samples were hot topics a couple of months ago, but these samples were actually made back in 2009, originally intended for a Fall 2009 release. Both sample colorways were shelved for good, but popped up again and created some nice buzz and created a particularly unique debate regarding Air Jordan colorways. Do lifestyle-inspired materials and colorways like the two Air Jordan IIIs here fit well with the Air Jordan? That debate was split right down the middle (according to Sneaker News readers), but here we have a nice detailed look at these rare samples. What makes this particular online listing is that the pair of up for sale is actually a mismate (left is Khaki, right is Denim), but each came from separate pairs and were not intended to be mismatched. Check out the detailed gallery below, and if you want to add these super-rare PEs to your collection, hit up the auction from toebox_champ on eBay.
