As Nike Sportswear continues to pull out more fogotten classics from their extensive archives, we’re starting to get retro releases on cult favorites, many for which it feels like we’ve been waiting a lifetime. Following up on the success of last year’s Air Flow TZ drops, 2012 welcomes another classic neoprene-uppered runner, the Nike Air Current looking just as it did upon its deubt in 1989. These simple yet eyecatching colorways replicate the original fluorescent run and have us wondering, given the Air Flow’s Lunar-cushioned update in all its forms, if we might see this model spawn something similar, or maybe even a new run of Air Max 90 Current (Huarache)s.
