In 1996, Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with cancer. A few years later, he embarked on a legendary run of seven-straight Tour de France titles. In what might be the greatest personal come-back in the history of
sports life, Lance Armstrong’s Tour de France domination served as an inspirational tool to the millions suffering from cancer, but Armstrong had ‘support’ in his mind earlier, as he started the Lance Armstrong Foundation on January 8th, 1997. Nike has been a long-time supporter of the foundation and has committed itself to Lance as an athlete and an advocate, and today, they celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the Lance Armstrong foundation by releasing a limited edition set of apparel. the Nike Air Max 2012, Nike Trainer 1.3 Mid (not picture), Nike WMNS LunarFly+ 3, and Nike WMNS Free TR Fit 2 are featured as the highlight footwear pieces of this great collection, which should go on sale very soon.
