From borrowed colorways to pack releases and even a few leaked samples on eBay, Supra has adapted the script that works so well for Nike, Inc. to fit their brand’s skater slash rockstar image. The new Supra Owen offers a nod toward the Swoosh’s LunarLon running efforts and coming on the heels of the Crown brand’s expansion into winterized boot offerings, suggests we could see further ventures into uncharted territory. The Owen has a look to it that’s fairly unique and yet still somewhat familiar, something like a generic take on all the performance and casually oriented running silos out there on the market today. Add to that a weight of only 200g for a stupendously light ride, and this is an intriguing effort for the spring that we hadn’t even known to expect. Check out the first four colorways after the jump and let us know if these are good enough to crack your rotation of NSW, New Balance, Asics and other running standbys. via Sneaker Freaker
