It won’t be February’s Foamposite release because the Varsity Red Ones are just too perfect a fit with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, but the ‘Electrolime’ Nike Air Foamposite One could indeed have been an interesting addition to the growing spread of 2012 NBA All-Star footwear. A colorway once teased as ‘Golden State’, this bright yellow getup keeps a blue ‘1c’ insignia and in doing so makes us wonder what might have been had the infamous Draft Day 1993 trade not gone down. Could we have been celebrating this upcoming ASG with Air Max Sensation retros instead of Air Penny drops? Timing turns out to be everything with these kinds of tributes, and while we won’t get access to the ‘Electrolime’ Faomposite Ones here in the States until St. Patrick’s Day, you might see pairs pop up on the ‘Bay since a limited number of pairs will be releasing in SE Asia tomorrow.
