Nike Sportswear had several major anniversaries to celebrate in 2012, so they started with the most senior and the Air Force 1’s 30th got all the attention early. The Uptown movement is still strong as we move into the warmer months, but just as more folks will be outside enjoying the weather, it’s natural to shift toward running and training designs. The Air Max 1 has initiated a little push of its own in commemoration of 25 years, but it’s another 1987-born runner that’s arguably stealing the show by joining forces with a variety of other models. Its namesake print appeared on the Air Force 1 iD, just reminded us that this is also the Air Trainer 1’s quarter-century milestone and now the Nike Air Safari is ready for its own run on NIKEiD. The Swoosh online customization Safari has a $135 admission fee but the details are still somewhat mysterious, so click through for more, let us know what kinds of looks you have in mind and stick with Sneaker News for more details.
