Next Saturday, June 23rd marks the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, and since Nike Sportswear has another fire-breathing lizard-inspired sneaker on tap, what better day to release it? The Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Year of the Dragon II’ will arrive next weekend in a decidedly more expressive form than the black pair that preceded it closer to Chinese New Year, a red, blue, white and gold mix that has vague Olympic undertones as we approach the London Opening Ceremonies next month.
