Vans has previewed several washed canvas styles for next year at recent tradeshow events, but the trend really got its start early this summer. Following a variety of styles on this silhouette including the dope ‘Van Doren’ edition retro patterns, the Vans Era ‘Washed Checker’ comes through with two colorways that by consensus would prove to be 2012’s ‘best of’. One gives us the black/white combo that’s been soaring so high since last Christmas’ ‘Concord’ Jordan Elevens, while the other resides in that mint/teal/aqua zone that makes a neutral out of blue and calls out to you from retailers like The DQM for Vans General.
