Every once in a while Nike brings things back to square one, setting up some special treats for the likes of their birthing place at the University of Oregon just a couple hours south on I5 from their current Beaverton home. More often than not it comes in the form of sneaker releases, but for this summer it was Nike Camp Victory, a special installation designed by Skylab Architecture adjacent to historic Hayward Field that was set up for the duration of the Olympic Track and Field trials in Eugene over the summer. The futuristic camp consisted of three separate pavilions, glowing angular buildings that housed Nike tech demos, gear up for grabs, and a rare chance to purchase a pair of Nike Flyknit Trainers before the rest of the world. Hit the jump with us for a video tour of the space along with a photo recap and stick with us for more from Nike’s architectural adventures.
