Just about every Vans division is adding new silhouettes for the coming season and today we have a look at a new Surf style with clear skate inspiration. The Vans Surf Growlar has a distinct name and familiar silhouette, both of which are spinoffs of Geoff Rowley’s Off the Wall signatures. Rowley’s latest, the Super Pro Vulc or SPV seems to have been a key inspiration here, as the Growlar opts for a similarly sleek lowtop construction, albeit with the branding stripe built into the eyestay/collar area.
