The revelation of Supreme’s upcoming Vans Old Skool pack offers a reminder that the Red Box brand had helped to resurrect a classic Nike vulc-soled lowtop with similar suede plus metallic colorups a few years back. The ‘World Famous’ Bruin SB reintroduced us to this classic basketball silhouette in lowcut form, and now this cousin to the Blazer also comes in a hightop edition thanks Nike Sportswear applying VNTG treatment to a couple of pairs that should be in stores just in time for last-minute Christmas shopping. The Nike Bruin Mid Premium Vintage has shown up in three suede styles whose blackened vulc soles are more like a John Varvatos x Converse project than the traditional VNTG pre-yellowing we’ve come to expect from NSW. This new silo and markings along with trendy colors should provide a nice spark for the Vintage series and you can see more images after the jump while we wait for the mid-December drop.
