The ‘Olive’ Air Jordan 9 is one of those nineteen year veterans, a shoe that dropped during Michael Jordan’s baseball career but still played a huge role in that first United Center season as the footwear of choice for the larger-than-life bronze statue that’s become one of Chicago’s most popular tourist attractions. This neutral take on the Bulls’ iconic color scheme can be seen as one of many signs of the Air Jordan transcending basketball to become a foundational element in the modern footwear canon, and you’ll be able to get your hands on them on Saturday, November 17th (sandwiched between the ‘Photo Blue’ and ‘Slim Jenkins’ releases).
