Nike Sportswear expanding to three dragon-inspired Air Force 1s in 2012 in addition to the popularity of snake among animal prints was all the evidence we needed to expect big things from scaley Uptowns in ’13.  But here’s a look at how the theme can play out all year without direct connections to the Chinese New Year celebration, a new Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Low with reptile texture applied to its molded body.  These are coming up for the first quarter along with other colorways including an orange edition whose texture we’ve not seen as clearly, so be sure to stick with Sneaker News to keep track of all the release dates.
