Nike began a revisiting of the neoprene era of runners with the re-issue of the Air Flow in 2011. It was followed by the Air Current this year, and will soon be supplanted by the Air Huarache and this ’94 classic – the Air Trainer Huarache ’94. While intended for overall Training, these were completely viable as runners, with the multi-strap construction on the upper providing some severe lockdown fit. It’s nice to see Nike go complete ‘Retro’ without choosing the Free-sole route, so if you’re into these 90’s classics, expect these at retailers like Rock City Kicks soon.
