The Authentic is the cornerstone of Vans’ footwear catalog, and in this latest release, the original 1966 deck shoe gets treated to an easy-on heel strap. Syndicate has issued Vans Authentic 69 Pro pairs before (most notably in collaboration with WTAPS), but earlier drops didn’t prepare us for the standout feature at the rear of these pairs. Black, red and blue pairs make up for this unfamiliar approach with a tonal application of the iconic checkerboard pattern, so have a closer look below and grab yours at shops like Atlas.
