Building on the success of 2009’s Campus Chukka, Jordan Brand issued the V.2 Grown as a vulc-soled lifestyle sneaker loosely based around the second Air Jordan flagship model. The series grew from there, incorporating the 1, IX and XII silhouettes into similar offerings. AJ V.1 Chukka released in new colorways through the end of 2012, and though it makes sense in terms of this model being something of a sequel, revisiting (a part of) the original Grown numbering is unexpected. And to the contrary, the Jordan AJ V.2 Low appears to be the lowtop Retro V.1, but with a slightly different sole. The nomenclature is a bit less straightforward than your average ‘numbered’ Jays, but the result of mixing New Emerald, black and white speaks for itself, so have a closer look below, then grab yours at JB retailers like Oneness.
