The UNC Tar Heels color combo of white and university blue is one that’s long been associated with the likes of the Air Jordan line. The connection is made a little bit more official with this, the Air Jordan IV “UNC” PE pair, a promo only version of MJ’s fourth silhouette that was apparently produced for the men’s basketball squad out there in Chapel Hill. The sneaker plants a Tar Heels logo on the tongue, goes heavy on the argyle print, and even puts the “UNC” insignia on the inside.
