The Nike Air Force 1 has always been a New York shoe, but it felt like the Big Apple let go of it just a little bit towards the tail end of the last decade. It’s been back in full effect as of late, partly thanks to Nike’s various NYC flavored silhouettes (The “Sheed” and “City Pack” versions to name a couple) and partly thanks to a new wave of youngsters embracing the model (We’ll call that the “A$AP Effect”). Adding another hit to the former category is the Nike Lunar Force 1 High “NYC”, a somber affair color-wise that gets an interesting logo hit on the back end to make its geographic tie-in clear. See the full shoe after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for word on when they’ll be in stores.
