Nike Air Zoom Generation – Unreleased Grey All-Star Sample

Nike Air Zoom Generation Unreleased All Star Sample 1

LeBron James just showed up on Instagram wearing his ‘First Game’ colorway, the one that introduced us to the Nike Air Zoom Generation back in 2003.  The AZG, which you might consider ‘Zoom LeBron 1’, started a decade of memorable styles, perhaps the most outstanding of which was the Timberland-inspired ‘Wheat’ Rookie Challenge style.  Here’s a look at another possibility for that All Star Weekend in Los Angeles, an all-grey AZG with the ‘LA’ insignia that showed up on a few Lakers and Clippers-colored releases of the era. Of course LeBron James wasn’t an All-Star during his Rookie Year, but he did have a ton of fun at the Rookie-Sophomore game, which featured LBJ in the in-game dunk contest that ended the contest. Have a closer look below and let us know if you’d like to see these drop if and when the Air Zoom Generation retro happens, and refresh your memory on some of LeBron’s great moments with this recent piece on LeBron James’ Career Achievements as Told By His Nike Sneakers.
