What would happen if, like Nike Sportswear’s classic lineup, Jordan Brand began to update the Air Jordan Legacy with tech updates? It’s something we’ve seen from the Air Jordan 2.0, but is otherwise kept under wraps in favor of hybrids and other new styles drawing on the ‘numbered’ Js’ design language. This pair pictured above is a good example, the Jordan Prime Flight clearly drawing on the middle ’90s period defined by Air Jordans IX through XI, but reimagining the familiar elements and adding a performance boost from a Dynamic Flywire lockdown system. This new colorway looks quite a bit like the 1994 original ‘Shadow’ Xs, and you can see them up close below while we wait for US release info.
