What would happen if you put a cup of Air Jordan III and a dash of AJVI in a blender and poured it into a cup of Jordan 5? In the best of all possible worlds, something like the ‘Infrared’ Air Jordan 3Lab5 would emerge, a blend of some of the more memorable visual cues from Tinker Hatfield’s first few go-rounds with the Jumpman. As we saw in a comparison yesterday, the ‘Infrared 23’ 3Lab5s are constructed like the Cement Grey/Gamma Blue edition up top, but make the midsole far more expressive by way of the signature bright red color.
