Jordan Brand’s Flight 23 store in NYC is open for business. Nearly 30 years after Michael Jordan first suited up in the Air Jordan 1, the brand has officially planted their flag in NYC with a dedicated retail space-one that’s just a stone’s throw away from Madison Square Garden. The details regarding the inside of the store have been kept pretty hush hush till now-you no doubt remember the gigantic Air Jordan 3 style shoebox that was sitting outside acting as a construction barrier. With the barrier gone and the doors open, we stepped inside the spot today and captured the magic of the new Jordan Brand Flight 23 store.
The space toes the line between Jordan Brand’s dual identities. On one hand there are the various performance models, the Jordan Melo M10 and Air Jordan XX8 SE among them, that represent the team’s constant dedication to innovation within the footwear world. On the other hand there are the retros and the accompanying apparel, which tell the back story of Michael’s countless achievements that helped make Jordan Brand the globally recognized force that it is today. Continue reading for an individual look at the various details sprinkled into the carefully curated Jordan Brand Flight 23 retail space for more insight and remember that they’re now open for business at 255 W.34th street.
