Nightshade is a dark teal color used sufficiently infrequently that when Jordan Brand dropped their ‘Nightshade Pack’ last October, most would have compared it to the new Gamma Blue or some such other wide rollout for a brand new shade. It turns out that set from the Jumpman might have been originally intended to be even larger, as today we get a first look at an Air Jordan II sample that would have fit right in. These have an edge in expressiveness over the other Nightshade Jordans thanks to the Safari print detailing, reflective 3M piping and speckles on the laces and midsole, and also pick up select neon yellow hits for a nice contrast. Click in to see some more angles on this rare (as yet) unreleased Jordan 2 sample, then keep your eyes on the ‘bay because the first auction went unsold and they might be relisted by depeche23mode on eBay.
