Michael Jordan’s influence is limitless. From the kid dribbling around the local blacktop playground after school to the elite athlete on the pitch, the number 23 has had a resonating effect on anyone who takes competition seriously. One of the greatest footballers to ever lace up a pair of boots is Italy’s Marco Materazzi, and in conjunction with Nike’s revival of the Tiempo ’94, the former world-class footballer designed a limited edition capsule of the Nike Tiempo ’94 Mid inspired by the Air Jordan 1 and the city of Milan. The MJ spirit is clearly present in the 3 colorways mimicking the OG fare, while the Black/Royal bleeds the connection with the bold-striped jersey worn by Milan. This set of shoes will release on March 23rd on Nike.com as well as Marco’s store Space23, with a wider global release on March 1st.
