The name given to this latest Vans Sk8-Hi Pro release is ‘checkers’; do you see why? It’s easy to venture a guess if you’re familiar with the iconic Vans checkerboard print, but that style isn’t immediately apparent on this new black and Dull Yellow Sk8-Hi. You have to look closely, and then you’ll see a subtle check pattern on the sockliner, not entirely different from the Air Jordan X retros that are releasing this spring.
