It looks like the Black Sheep x Nike SB Dunk High “Paid in Full” might have hit a legal snag on the way to its retail release. As of now, the skate shop that the sneakers come from is cancelling the release and putting it out there that “we cannot comment any further”. In addition, the sneakers have been pulled from Nike’s official release calendar. Reading between the lines, it seems likely that the over-the-top Gucci imprint on the design caught the attention of the folks of the luxury house, stirring them to take action. Remember, this isn’t the first time a Nike SB Dunk seemingly inspired by the high-end brand was cancelled. Read Black Sheep Skate Shop’s official statement below and stay tuned to Sneaker News to see if the Black Sheep x Nike SB Dunk High “Paid in Full” ever makes it to retail in a different form.
