Earlier this week we got a first look at Asics’ Christmas and Spring 2015 Collection. The preview enticed us with two brand new offerings of the Asics Gel Saga, one of which dons a unique color blocking focussed on contrasting the micro-perf toebox with the rest of the luxurious deep red upper for a festive Christmas aesthetic. In the pantheon of Asics releases, the Gel Saga is a pair that occasionally gets the honor of a collaboration (think the BAIT “Phantom Lagoons”) but for the most part, the in-house creations are what keep this retro runner going.
