As the year of the Huarache comes to a close, the simplest colorways of the Tinker designed silhouette without doubt command the most attention. But then again, isn’t that the way it’s always been with Huaraches? As all things minimal continue to reign, the reemergence of the Nike Air Huarache couldn’t have come at a better time. And with Black Friday 2014 just days away, two models that were released back in 1992 are re-appropriated with updated materials and richer tones for the impending shopping bonanza. Fitted in plush suede and nylon, both the “Cool Grey” and “Curry” perfectly vocalize the sensibility of the Huarache when it originally released back in 1991, and what it persists in representing today.
