As anyone around these parts can attest, good sneakers are the salt of the earth, and one of the foremost reasons is the stories they tell. Fittingly, Nike is on the heels of releasing the SB Dunk High “Salt Stain”; inspired by salt stains that tend to ruin kicks worn in cold climate regions, this distressed Dunk High takes on a Jordans feel, most notably at the lining which mimics that of the Air Jordan 10 “Chicago” as detailed by the sneakers creative lead, skater turned Nike designer, Anthony Hart. That said, even though they are aesthetically alluring, make no mistake, they are meant to be skated in, because the “salt” wears off as you give them more burn.
