Red October Dunks. We’ve seen Nike take Yeezy inspirations to task in the past even though Kanye ditched the Swoosh for the three stripes. The unofficial yet eerily familiar looks have usually harkened back to the ‘Blink’ aesthetic though – that black, glow, and pink combination that’s now amassed legendary status in the footwear industry. There’s too many similarities in this Nike Dunk High CMFT to the Red Octobers to not comment on though, as Nike utilized mesh, suede, and even stars throughout the Dunk. Is it surprising the lengths that Nike went to in order to replicate some of the finer details of the most sought after sneaker of 2014?
