The Nike Kobe 10 “Silk” is confirmed for a March 21st release date. After a first look earlier today, here we see a better look at the Han Dynasty silk road inspired Nike Kobe 10. The Black Mamba’s tenth signature sneaker has seen a number of innovations from a natural motion forefoot to a translucent midsole covering for added support. As for the colorways, we’ve been treated to a rather muted All-Star aesthetic, and two monochromatic schemes in the Blackout and 5 AM Flight. Here we finally see some deviation int he look, as Total Orange and Merlot come together on the mesh upper while a speckled orange midsole lights up the silhouette. Throw in a Metallic Gold Swoosh and a printed tongue lining, and this Kobe could be a late Chinese New Year reference. It definitely reminds us of one of the last Kobe 9 EM offerings as well.
