The Nike GT Future Releases Holiday 2025 For $190

The All-Star Weekend mania has settled, and clearly the winning sneaker to come out of the Bay Area events was the Nike GT Future. This couldn’t have happened without Wale, who was first spotted with an orange colorway of the sneaker on Nike’s Future Game event on Friday evening. He was later spotted in a “Copper Eggplant” colorway, while nike NIL athlete AJ Dybantsa was hooping in an all-black version. Wale recently took to Instagram to share a closer look at the shoes. Sneaker News also confirms that the GT Future is set to release Holiday 2025 for $190; Black/Metallic Silver and Metallic Silver/Black/White colorways are expected.

A new “Copper Egg” colorway of the Nike GT Future is revealed. Wale was once again spotted in this buzzing new basketball shoe during his performance at Nike’s officially Galaxy Foamosite party.

That sneaker Wale was spotted wearing? It’s the Nike GT Future, the latest model from Nike Basketball’s collective of performance-centric models that have been widely praised by all types of hoopers in the game.

Since its debut in early 2021, the Greater Than Series has delivered high-level models engineered specifically to the modern hooper intertwined with imprint decades for inspiration. Divided into three pillars of Cut, Jump, and Run (now Hustle), Nike is now introducing a fourth leg called the Nike GT Future.

After Wale was spotted wearing an orange pair, Nike NIL athlete AJ Dybantsa debuted the silhouette at Nike’s Future Game experience in Oakland. The shoe is confirmed to launch later this year.

Aesthetically, comparisons have been made to the Nike Zoom Hyperflight, the iconic Eric Avar-designed model that debuted back in 2001. It was most commonly associated with Nike’s speedy guards such as Jason “White Chocolate” Williams and Penny Hardaway. Exceptionally designed and truly unlike anything out on the market at the time, the Hyperflight legend continued in 2013 when it re-released for the first time. The tongue features perforations that also remind us of the Nike Zoom 2K3, a shoe closely related to the Hyperflight.
