Forrest Gump’s estate has to be one of the best fictitious fortunes in movie history. Apple investments, table tennis sponsorships, oh and a footwear deal with Nike championing the Nike Cortez. This actually translated into real life, sort of, as the Cortez returns in three original premium incarnations, two of which you’ll remember were featured prominently throughout the Oscar-winning film. Each of the Cortez trio dons a leather upper while the vintage tongue returns to show the exposed pre-aged foam. 43-years after changing the sport of running forever, the Cortez looks as good on-feet as ever.
