The Nike Academy helps elite young footballers develop their skills in a training environment second to none. With luxurious training facilities and some of the best coaches on the planet, Nike Football (that’s soccer to everyone reading this stateside) utilizes this as the perfect opportunity to give these up and comers the first chance to wear their latest products. This includes blackout varieties of Nike’s latest boots featuring flyknit and dynamic flywire technologies. The thought process was to ditch the trend of players wearing flashy sneakers in order to allow their respective skills to speak for themselves at Nike Academy. The look caught on so much that Nike is actually releasing them to the public later this weekend. The Nike Mercurial, Hypervenom, and Magista cleats all get drenched in a monochromatic black while hints of Volt arrive in the faintest influence. The Nike Academy Black Pack arrives courtesy of the Nike Football App on April 24th and will arrive at Nike.com on April 25th.
