Summer is here, which means it’s time to start spending your money on important things for summer time fun. Ice cream, new shorts, a beach ball, sunscreen, fireworks, beer…the list goes on. With all these new essential seasonal purchases, we’re back again with another edition of Budget Heat to make sure your wallet stays padded while still being able to look fresh.
Keeping in mind the warm summer weather, we tried to find a selection of sneakers that will keep you feeling just as cool as you look, with light, airy, and low-top models from a wide variety of brands. All of the new tonal suede colorways of the Superstar city pack are nice, but we’re a bit partial to the New York colorway sporting the Statue of Liberty on the heels. You can buy a pair right now from Oneness.
Saucony DXN Trainer “Bermuda” ($100)
The newly re-introduced DXN Trainer from Saucony debuts in a colorway specifically built for summer, featuring a tropical Bermuda themed set of blue tones on the lush suede upper. Pick them up from Saucony Originals retailers like Rise before they all float away.
Nike Air Huarache “Wolf Grey” ($100)

The SL Loop was a hit shoe for adidas last summer, and now it transforms into the sleeker SL Loop Racer for another run this year. DQM x Blue Note Records x Vans Era LX ($94)
Not often does a collab clock in at under $100 these days, but this awesome team-up from DQM and Vans with legendary jazz label Blue Note manages to—even with a special box. Adorned with many of the most classic releases from the label over the years, these are a must have for any fan of sneakers and jazz. Purchase a pair while they last straight from DQM.

Part chukka silhouette, part soft and and comfy mesh-bottomed sneaker a la the Roshe, The Bab from Greats is a stylish and affordable option for summer. Take your pick from a plethora of colorways online at Greats.
